Marti Speranza Wong

Marti is a passionate leader who is deeply devoted to humanitarian work and women’s empowerment. Marti serves as a Board Member and as President of Community Engagement at the RTW Foundation. 
 
Marti is Executive Director of Amplify Her, an organization that since 2018 has recruited committed campaign volunteers and built the power of those who are often neglected by status quo politics. Amplify Her endorses candidates that have a track record of fighting for their community and hold an unwavering commitment to improving the lives of New Yorkers. Marti also serves as Chairwoman of the Amplify Her Charitable Foundation.
 
Prior to founding Amplify Her, Marti served as Director of Women Entrepreneurs NYC, an initiative that raised up thousands of female business-owners from underserved communities through innovative programs on leadership, mentorship and access to capital. Marti’s first role in NYC government was as Director of Strategic Initiatives for NYC Department of Consumer Affairs, the agency tasked with enforcement of consumer protection laws and empowerment of low-income New Yorkers. 
 
Marti currently serves on the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity NYC. Marti was elected as Democratic State Committeewoman, appointed to Community Board and in 2022 was recognized by the Bronx Borough President with a Proclamation for her work in the Community. Marti studied Economics and Political Science at the University of Pennsylvania and received her MBA from Harvard University.
